Photo essay: around the block

This month’s project was a creative stretch for me: take a walk around the block and come back with 12 good photos. I would then edit them all in the same style to create a unified look.

It didn’t work out exactly like that, though. I went out with my two-year old and we walked around the block and to the park. I took a bunch of pictures, a lot of them that I thought were good when reviewing them on the screen, but when I imported them into LightRoom only six caught my eye. It’s pretty rare for me to get one good picture in one outing, so I consider this a win.

Next month’s project will be 12 photos of hands and feet. Stay tuned.
